Who are you?
I love the tough old-timers, the artists, the football fans, the foodies. This is a fun place. And we truly care about each other.
The people are what make this city great though. I love the tough old-timers, the artists, the football fans, the foodies. This is a fun place. And we truly care about each other. I see this in the organizations that have supported me in my journey, like The Bridge House (on Barton and East) which helps men who are released from Provincial Corrections with nowhere to go, and Liberty for Youth which does work with young people in trouble at school or with the law. I see this at the Ancaster Farmers Market, where I have met so many wonderful customers who encourage me with their kind words and interest in agriculture. I see this at my church, St. Paul’s Glanford, where even with a very small congregation they do excellent outreach in the community. People can be themselves here. We Hamiltonians are a tough bunch, but we have each others back with open hearts and open minds. That is what I’ve always loved about Hamilton.
