Devil’s Punch Bowl – which has a recognizable lit up cross atop – was were featured in the final scenes of the 2006 horror movie Silent Hill. There’s an interesting history given of the Devil’s Punch Bowl from the Hamilton Ghost Walk vis the Stoney Creek Historical Society
The Punch Bowl market is a family owned business that features a bakery and garden centre. The Baruzza family restored the 150 year old barn located at the Devil’s Punchbowl to give the feel of a classic country pit stop.
At the end of August you find the Winona Peach Festival – it’s an interesting event, as it’s own by about 20 not for profit organizations, run entirely by volunteers, and usually hosts about 100,000 every year! The Peach sundaes are not to be missed!
Saturdays in the Creek – every 2nd Saturday of the month, the downtown Stoney Creek BIA presents a celebration of downtown business’, 9am to 2pm – a great way for the community to keep in touch with its downtown core
Puddicombe Estate Farms, Winery and Cider – Over 200 year old Fruit Farm that offers tours, train rides, you can pick your own cherries and apples. It also is a gorgeous backdrop for you wedding or special event!
