When: Second Friday of every month
Art Crawl transforms James Street North into a celebration of art, music, and food with galleries and businesses keeping their doors open late. Walk the roads between York Blvd and Murray Street, which have been made pedestrian-only since last year. One of the best ways to experience what the city has to offer.
Where: King Street from John St to Gage Ave
When: Jun 23, 2024
Beginning in summer 2023, this festival turns King St from John to Gage into a car-free paradise. Pedestrians can walk the open streets from 7am to 4pm and find hubs of activities for all ages, as well as live entertainment in the International Village and a food court at the Kitchen Collective.

An annual Canada Day weekend celebration with live music at the bandshell as well as a community stage. Check out several cultural performances from Six Nations smoke dancers to “As Trincanas” Portuguese Folk Group. You’ll also find lots of activities for families, as well as local arts and crafts vendors.

A craft beer festival for local beer and cider lovers.Sample from dozens of craft breweries and ciders from across Ontario. You’ll also find great food and a live music line up featuring Billy Talent, Tokyo Police Club, PUP and more.

When: July 17 – 28, 2024
In it’s 20th year, Hamilton Fringe Festival brings 350 performances of sketch comedy, improv, theatre, dance, puppetry, magic, and musicals to venues across the city. Super affordable entertainment starting at only $14.
Where: Gage Park
When: August 2 – 4
A classic Hamilton festival in Gage Park and one of the biggest of its kind in Canada. Three days of live music plus vendors, food and drink, rides, and family activities. Stay tuned on instagram for this year’s line up to be announced.
Where: Downtown Dundas
When: August 16 – 18
Head to Dundas for the annual Cactus Festival. Streets are closed for pedestrians and you’ll find sidewalk sales, family activities, live entertainment, and a chance to check out some of Dundas’ small businesses.

When: August 23 – 25, 2024
A celebration of all things peaches in Winona. Don’t miss the peach sundae. Lots of activities for families at this classic event.

Closing out the summer, Supercrawl expands Art Crawl into a full weekend event. This event is always anchored by a killer live music lineup, but you’ll also find a ton of other activities and entertainment, art installations, food & drink, vendors, family events and more. Can’t be missed!
